Buy an eSIM for Madeira island travel

Planning Funchal, coastal roads and Madeira walks? AloOui's active Portugal eSIM explicitly includes Madeira in its destination information. Compare plans for maps, lodging and messages where supported local mobile service exists. Your QR code arrives by email. No specific trail, tunnel, boat or viewpoint is guaranteed reception.

Compare Portugal plans for Madeira

Review speeds, hotspot terms and current price on the live Portugal plan page. More data cannot extend coverage into an unserved valley or tunnel.

Arriving in Funchal

Save the airport or port on your booking, accommodation address and transfer contact before leaving Wi-Fi. Confirm transport schedules directly with providers. The data eSIM does not include fares, lodging or tours.

Coastal days

Keep meeting points and return directions offline. Check weather, access and opening times with local operators. Reception can vary indoors, on roads and at quieter coastal locations; do not assume a specific stop has signal.

Walking routes and high ground

Download maps and emergency contacts before a levada or mountain walk. Check official route closures, current weather and whether a guide is needed for your plan. Terrain and tunnels may interrupt service, so do not rely on mobile data as the only navigation or safety method.

Onward Portugal itinerary

If continuing to mainland Portugal or the Azores, review the exact destination terms of your selected plan and choose sufficient validity. Save ferry or flight information offline; service at sea is not guaranteed.

Install and troubleshoot

1. Choose a Portugal plan and validity, complete checkout and open the emailed QR code on another screen.
2. On Wi-Fi, add an eSIM in the settings of an unlocked compatible phone. Label it AloOui and follow the delivery email; do not delete it.
3. On arrival, select AloOui for mobile data and follow your activation instructions. If data fails where signal exists, check validity, instructed roaming and APN guidance; toggle airplane mode. Visit the AloOui Help Center for assistance.
