Coverage and supported networks

This country product covers Indonesia, including Bali. Its provider data lists Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Tri Indonesia and Telkomsel. Supported partners list 4G and 5G capabilities, but actual access depends on your device, partner network and location. 5G is not guaranteed.

Coverage varies by island, terrain and local conditions. Download offline maps before boat crossings, volcano hikes and remote-island visits. Coverage in Komodo, Raja Ampat and offshore is not guaranteed.

Data and validity

Fixed-data plans provide one total allowance for the entire validity, not a daily refill:

• 1GB for 7 days
• 2GB for 15 days
• 3GB, 5GB, 10GB, 20GB, 50GB or 100GB for 30 days

Fixed-data plans do not include unlimited reduced-speed continuation after the allowance is used.

Unlimited Lite, Essential and Plus are selectable for 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 or 30 days. Lite appears as Indonesia Unlimited in the selector. No Premium variant is selectable on this main Indonesia product.

After the daily full-speed allowance, data continues at the tier's reduced speed for the rest of that day, subject to plan terms and network conditions. Unlimited does not mean unlimited data at full speed. Plus is not Premium or a priority-network plan.

Price and choosing your plan

Current prices appear beside each selectable option. Compare fixed data for predictable total usage, Essential for balanced everyday travel, and Plus for heavier daily use or hotspot sharing. Choose the duration that matches your stay. The separate Indonesia Flash Sale listing has its own options and terms.

Prices may change. Always check the product page for the latest prices before purchasing.

Connectivity and hotspot

This Indonesia eSIM is data-only. It does not include a local phone number, native calls or SMS. Internet-based messaging and calling apps use your data and depend on connectivity.

Hotspot sharing is included where mobile service is available, subject to the selected plan's terms and device support. Shared data uses your allowance; reduced-speed conditions also affect tethered devices.

Installation and activation

1. Confirm that your exact phone model supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked, then choose your data option and duration.
2. Purchase your plan and open the AloOui QR-code email.
3. Connect to stable Wi-Fi and follow the supplied installation instructions. On iPhone, look for Cellular or Mobile Data > Add eSIM; on many Samsung phones, Connections > SIM Manager; on Pixel, SIMs under Network & internet. Menu names vary.
4. In Indonesia, turn on the AloOui line, select it for mobile data and enable roaming on that line if required by your instructions.
5. Allow the phone to connect to a supported local network.

Before you travel and compatible devices

You can install the Indonesia eSIM before traveling. Installation alone does not start validity. Validity starts on activation when the eSIM connects to a supported network in Indonesia.

Use an unlocked, eSIM-compatible iPhone, Samsung, Google Pixel or other supported device. Compatibility depends on the exact model and regional version, not the brand alone. Keep roaming off on your home line to avoid your home carrier's roaming charges.

Traveling beyond Indonesia?

For a multi-country itinerary, compare the Asia eSIM, whose provider coverage includes Indonesia, and check every other destination on your route. The four-country South East Asia regional product does not include Indonesia or Bali. This Indonesia country product does not cover neighboring countries.

Need help?

If the eSIM does not connect, check that the AloOui line is on and selected for mobile data, with required roaming enabled. Restart the phone or briefly toggle airplane mode. If the APN is missing or incorrect, enter data.esim and keep other fields as supplied in your activation instructions.

If automatic network selection fails, use a supported partner listed in your activation details. Do not delete the installed eSIM or repeatedly rescan the QR code before asking for help. Contact the AloOui Help Center with your order details, phone model and the error you see. Keep your QR code private.
