Buy a Taichung eSIM for central Taiwan travel

Stopping in Taichung between other Taiwan destinations? Choose an AloOui Taiwan eSIM for city maps, transport details, bookings and messages where supported network coverage is available. Your QR code is delivered by email after purchase. This guide links to the existing Taiwan eSIM plans, not a separate Taichung-only product.

No Premium tier is selectable on this Taiwan product. These USD prices are current-selector references and may change. Review the exact duration, hotspot terms and total on the Taiwan product page.

Arriving in Taichung

Save your train details, hotel address and meeting point before leaving Wi-Fi. Taichung's high-speed rail station and city center are not the same stop; check your onward connection with the transport operator. Supported mobile data can help with directions, but service on trains or underground is not guaranteed. Your eSIM is not a transit ticket.

City days and central Taiwan excursions

Use supported data for directions to your accommodation, reservations and messages around Taichung. If your route includes central Taiwan's hill country or a day trip to Sun Moon Lake, save tickets, meeting points and offline maps before departure. Terrain and network availability can affect signal, and a larger data allowance does not extend coverage into a dead zone. Choose validity for your full Taiwan route rather than only the Taichung stop.

Install and troubleshoot

1. Choose a Taiwan plan and duration, complete checkout and open the emailed QR code on another screen.
2. Connect an unlocked, eSIM-compatible phone to stable Wi-Fi. On iPhone, open Settings > Cellular/Mobile Data > Add eSIM > Use QR Code. On Android, find Add eSIM in SIM manager or Network & internet; labels vary.
3. Scan the code, label your new line AloOui and follow the delivery email. Do not delete the installed eSIM.
4. On arrival, select AloOui for mobile data and follow the plan's activation guidance. If it does not connect, check validity, data and instructed roaming on that line, toggle airplane mode, compare the APN data.esim with your email and try automatic network selection.
