Why Dubai Visitors Buy Data One Day at a Time
The UAE is a stopover market. Three in ten UAE orders are an Unlimited Lite plan for a single day, and over half of all orders are unlimited, mostly the entry tier.

The one-day traveler
Figures come from AloOui orders across a full year-round period. Percentages and ranks only. Billing country is a proxy for where a customer lives, not nationality.
Founder quote
“The UAE is a short-stop destination, and a winter one. Almost a third of buyers pick a one-day Unlimited Lite plan, and December and January bring almost half of the year's orders.”

What stands out
Three things to know
A stopover market
30% of UAE orders are Unlimited Lite for a single day: the short stop, the layover, the quick trip.
Entry tier first
Unlimited Lite is 43% of UAE orders, Essential 7% and Plus 3%. Few UAE visitors pay for the larger tiers.
Fixed data still matters
47% of UAE orders are fixed-data plans: longer stays and lighter use between Wi-Fi connections.

About this data
How we got these numbers
The figures come from AloOui's own orders, grouped by destination and plan type, across a full year-round period. Everything is shown as percentages or ranks. Billing country is a proxy for where a customer lives, not nationality. Comparisons between destinations use only destinations with enough orders for a stable comparison, and average basket ranks reflect each destination's plan mix and plan prices.
