Accommodation Wi-Fi
Ask whether access is included, where it is available and whether fees or usage limits apply. Compare actual facilities rather than assuming Wi-Fi quality from the destination.
No option is universally faster, cheaper or reliable everywhere. Keep tickets, maps and transfer contacts offline for remote activities and boat journeys.
Fiji: match data to your stay
The separate Fiji product lists Digicel and Vodafone up to 4G where available. Fixed options are 1GB/7 days, 2GB/15 days and 3GB, 5GB or 10GB/30 days. Fixed data is one total allowance and ends at exhaustion or expiry, whichever comes first, without reduced-speed continuation.
Essential is the balanced daily choice for shorter visits. Plus offers more daily high-speed data for uploads or hotspot use where supported. Compare fixed 5GB or 10GB for longer stays with lighter use between Wi-Fi connections.
Confirm essential resort and island locations before buying, especially remote properties and multi-island itineraries. A country entry does not guarantee every island, beach or boat route.
Samoa: check the separate product
AloOui has a Samoa eSIM product. Review its current selectable allowances, validity, network information and service area rather than transferring Fiji's terms to it. Save accommodation contacts and transport details before leaving reliable connectivity.
Australia and New Zealand stops
The separate Oceania regional eSIM lists Australia and New Zealand. Its current supplier record does not include Fiji or Samoa. Match each purchase to its own destination list.
Prepare your device and connection
Confirm eSIM support for your exact device model and regional version, and carrier-unlocked status. Install the emailed QR code over stable internet using the supplied instructions. Travel-eSIM validity starts on activation by connection to a supported destination network, not installation alone. Enabling the line within supported coverage can start the plan.
When ready, select the intended mobile-data line and enable its data roaming as instructed. Review home-line charges separately. Hotspot depends on device and network support and uses the same allowance. Fiji's travel eSIM is data-only, without native calls, SMS or a local phone number.
