Choose your plan

• Balanced two-week holiday: Unlimited Essential for 15 days, with 1GB per day at full speed, followed by unlimited data at up to 1.25 Mbps.
• Data-heavy travel: Unlimited Plus, with 2GB per day at full speed, followed by unlimited data at up to 2 Mbps. A better choice for frequent uploads, video calls and hotspot use, within these limits.
• Light use or a short stopover: 1GB for 7 days or 2GB for 15 days. Fixed plans provide one total allowance, not a daily allowance.
• A month away: choose a 30-day fixed-data or Unlimited option to match your usage.

Check the plan selector for current prices. Prices may change. Always check the product page for the latest prices before purchasing.

14 destinations included

Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.

Bali is included through Indonesia. Japan, mainland China, India, the Philippines, Cambodia and Laos are not included. Check every stop on your itinerary before buying.

Compare fixed data and Unlimited

Standard Unlimited options in the selector are Lite. Unlimited high-speed allowances refresh daily; reduced-speed data continues after that day's allowance. Fixed-data plans do not include reduced-speed continuation after their total allowance is used. No Premium option is currently selectable on this listing.

Need help choosing?

Use Shop with AI on the AloOui website or app to find options for your destinations, trip length and data needs. Check the selected plan's coverage, allowance and current price before purchasing.

Networks and hotspot sharing

4G/LTE and 5G are available where supported by the destination network, device and local coverage. Examples of listed partners include Telkomsel, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and Tri in Indonesia; TrueMove H, dtac and AWN in Thailand; Maxis, Celcom, DiGi and U Mobile in Malaysia; Singtel, StarHub and SIMBA in Singapore; and SK Telecom in South Korea. Not every partner offers 5G.

Hotspot sharing is available where supported by your device and network. Shared data uses your selected plan's allowance and speed limits.

Data-only travel connectivity

This is a data-only eSIM, without a local phone number, native calls or SMS. Use internet-based calling and messaging apps through your data connection. If you keep your home SIM enabled for calls or SMS, check its roaming charges with your carrier and disable its data roaming.

Install before you fly, activate at your destination

Use an eSIM-compatible, carrier-unlocked device and a stable Wi-Fi connection to install the QR code from your email. On iPhone, use Settings > Cellular or Mobile Data > Add eSIM. On Android, use your SIM manager or network settings to add an eSIM. Menu names vary by device.

Validity starts when the eSIM activates by connecting to a supported network in a covered destination. Installation alone does not start validity. If you are already in a covered destination, enabling the line and connecting can start your plan.

When ready to use it, turn on the AloOui line, select it for mobile data and enable data roaming on that line. Disable automatic mobile-data switching to your home SIM where your device offers that setting.

APN and connection help

1. Confirm that the AloOui line is enabled, selected for mobile data and has data roaming turned on.
2. If an APN is required, enter data.esim, leave username and password blank, and save/select that APN. Some devices configure it automatically.
3. Toggle airplane mode or restart your phone. Try 4G/LTE if 5G is unstable.
4. Keep automatic network selection on initially. If necessary, choose a supported partner for your current destination, not any network that appears in the list.
5. Check that your plan is active and has data remaining. Do not delete the eSIM while troubleshooting; contact support first.

Need a different route or longer validity?

For extended trips, compare the separate Asia Long Trip eSIM. If the Philippines is on your route, compare South East Asia eSIM, noting that it does not cover Indonesia or Malaysia. For Japan or mainland China, check the full destination list and terms of Europe + USA + Business Hubs eSIM. These are separate purchases, not extra coverage included with this Asia plan.

Asia eSIM FAQs

Does this plan cover Bali?

Yes, Bali is included through Indonesia, subject to local network coverage.

Does it cover Japan or the Philippines?

No. Use the 14-destination list above rather than assuming every Asian destination is included.

Which Unlimited plan should I choose?

Essential is the balanced option. Choose Plus for more daily high-speed data; Lite is suited to lighter use and has a lower speed after its daily allowance.

When does validity start?

On activation by connection to a supported destination network, not simply when you install the eSIM.

Can I share data with my laptop?

Yes, where hotspot is supported by your device and network, using the same plan allowance and speed limits.

Does it include a phone number, calls or SMS?

No. This listing provides data-only travel connectivity.

Is 5G guaranteed?

No. Network technology and performance depend on the partner, location, device and conditions.

What if I have no internet?

Follow the APN and connection steps above, then contact the AloOui Help Center without deleting the eSIM.
