• Short city break: fixed 3GB or 5GB for 30 days is a practical starting point for maps, messages and bookings between Wi-Fi connections.
• Balanced two-week trip: Unlimited Essential for 15 days provides 1GB of high-speed data daily, then continued data at up to 1.25 Mbps for the rest of that day. Choose 30 days for a longer backpacking route.
• Data-heavy travel: Unlimited Plus provides 2GB of high-speed data daily, then continued data at up to 2 Mbps. Choose it for more uploads, video calls or hotspot use where coverage is available.

Compare selectable plans

The standard Unlimited options in the selector are Lite. Daily high-speed allowances refresh each day; reduced speeds apply after that day's allowance is used. Unlimited does not mean unrestricted high-speed data. Fixed plans provide one total allowance shared across covered destinations and end when that allowance or validity runs out, whichever comes first, with no reduced-speed continuation. No Premium option is currently selectable.

Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, French Guiana, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.

This is not blanket Latin America coverage. Bolivia, Paraguay, Venezuela, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama are not included. The USA and Canada are also outside this plan. Check every stop before buying, especially on overland routes.

4G/LTE and 5G are available where supported by the partner, device and local coverage. The listed partners in Argentina, Ecuador, El Salvador and French Guiana are up to 4G. Telcel and Movistar in Mexico are listed up to 4G, while AT&T lists 5G. Available speeds vary with location and conditions.

Backpacking and remote-area travel

Keep maps, tickets and accommodation details offline before heading into the Andes, Amazon, Patagonia or other remote areas. Mobile signal may be limited or unavailable on trails and long road journeys. A listed destination does not guarantee reception throughout every route.

Hotspot and data-only service

Hotspot sharing is available where supported by your device and network. Shared usage counts toward the same total or daily high-speed allowance. Large downloads, backups and streaming can use data quickly.

This eSIM does not include a phone number, native calls or SMS. Use internet-based messaging and calling apps through mobile data. If you keep your home SIM for calls or SMS, check its roaming charges and turn off its data roaming.

Install before departure, activate when ready

Use an eSIM-compatible, carrier-unlocked device and stable Wi-Fi to install the QR code from your email. Choose Add eSIM in your phone's cellular or SIM settings; menus vary by device.

Validity starts when the eSIM activates by connecting to a supported network in a covered destination. Installation alone does not start validity. If you are already in a covered destination, enabling the line and connecting can start your plan.

When ready, enable AloOui, select it for mobile data and turn on data roaming for that line. Disable automatic mobile-data switching to your home SIM where available. Crossing a border does not reset validity or provide a new fixed-data allowance.

APN and connection help

1. Check that AloOui is enabled, selected for mobile data and has data roaming on.
2. If an APN is required, enter data.esim, leave username and password blank, and save/select it. Some devices configure this automatically.
3. Toggle airplane mode or restart your phone. Try 4G/LTE if 5G is unstable.
4. Start with automatic network selection. If needed, select a listed supported partner for your current destination, not any network that appears.
5. Check remaining data and validity. Do not delete the eSIM while troubleshooting; contact support first.

Does it cover all of Latin America?

No. Only the 11 listed destinations are included.

Are Mexico, Brazil and Peru included?

Yes, subject to local network coverage.

Are Bolivia and Panama included?

No. Neither is on this plan's coverage list.

Can I use one plan across multiple covered destinations?

Yes, within the same allowance and validity. Crossing borders does not reset your plan.

What is the difference between Lite, Essential and Plus?

Lite and Essential each provide 1GB/day high-speed data, with different reduced speeds afterward. Plus provides 2GB/day high-speed data and up to 2 Mbps afterward.

When does validity start?

On activation by connection to a supported destination network, not simply on installation.

Does it include a phone number or SMS?

No. This is a data-only travel eSIM.

Can I use hotspot?

Yes, where supported by your device and network, using the same allowance.

What if there is no internet?

Follow the APN and connection steps above, then contact the AloOui Help Center without deleting the eSIM.
