AloOui Tanzania eSIM is a data-only travel eSIM for Tanzania. Choose fixed allowances from 1GB to 20GB or Unlimited Lite, Essential and Plus for up to 15 days. • Lighter use or a longer stay: fixed 5GB, 10GB or 20GB for 30 days suits maps, messages and bookings between Wi-Fi connections.
• Balanced daily use: Unlimited Essential includes 1GB of high-speed data daily, then data at up to 1.25 Mbps for the rest of the day.
• More uploads or hotspot use: Unlimited Plus includes 2GB of high-speed data daily, then data at up to 2 Mbps. Plus is not Premium.

Compare selectable plans

Standard options labeled Tanzania-United Republic of Unlimited are Lite. Daily high-speed allowances refresh each day. Unlimited does not mean unrestricted high-speed data. Fixed plans end when their allowance or validity runs out, whichever comes first, without reduced-speed continuation. No Unlimited duration beyond 15 days, or Premium or Platinum variant, is currently selectable on this product.

Networks and Tanzania coverage

The provider list includes Airtel Tanzania and Vodacom with support up to 5G. Actual connection and speeds depend on your device, supported partner, terrain and local conditions. A listed 5G network does not guarantee 5G at every location. This product covers Tanzania, not Kenya or other neighboring countries.

Safari, island stays and mountain routes

Use supported mobile data around Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Zanzibar and other locations with signal. Do not count on uninterrupted service throughout the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Kilimanjaro trails, remote lodges, ferries or outer islands. Download offline maps, safari bookings and emergency contacts before leaving reliable coverage. Check your exact itinerary with support before buying if connectivity at a particular location is essential. Satellite and maritime networks are not included.

Hotspot and keeping your existing number

Hotspot sharing is available where supported by your device and network, using the same total or daily allowance. This eSIM does not include a Tanzanian number, native calls or SMS. Internet-based messaging and calling depend on app availability and connectivity.

You can keep your home SIM for calls or SMS if your device supports the arrangement. Check its roaming charges, turn off its data roaming and avoid automatic data switching.

Compatibility, installation and activation

You need an eSIM-compatible, carrier-unlocked device. Check your exact model and regional version before purchase. Install the emailed QR code over stable Wi-Fi using Add eSIM in your cellular or SIM settings.

Validity starts when the eSIM activates by connecting to a supported network in Tanzania. Installation alone does not start validity. If already in Tanzania, enabling the line and connecting can start the plan.

When ready, enable AloOui, select it for mobile data and turn on data roaming for that line.

APN and troubleshooting

1. Check that AloOui is enabled, selected for mobile data and has data roaming on.
2. If an APN is required, set it to data.esim, leaving username and password blank. Save/select it; some devices configure this automatically.
3. Toggle airplane mode or restart your phone.
4. Start with automatic network selection; if needed, select a listed supported partner and move to a stronger-signal area.
5. Check remaining data and validity. Do not delete the eSIM or repeatedly scan a one-time QR code while troubleshooting; contact support first.

It is a Tanzania product suitable for itineraries that include Zanzibar where supported coverage is available. Reception on every beach, ferry route or outer island is not guaranteed.

Will it work throughout a safari?

Continuous connectivity in parks and remote lodges is not guaranteed. Save maps and booking details offline before departure.

How long do Unlimited plans last?

Lite, Essential and Plus offer 1, 3, 5, 7, 10 or 15 days. Fixed options provide up to 30 days depending on allowance.

When does validity start?

On activation by connection to a supported network in Tanzania, not simply on installation.

Can I share data with a laptop?

Yes, where hotspot is supported by your device and network. Shared usage counts toward the same allowance.

What if it does not connect?

Follow the troubleshooting steps above and contact the AloOui Help Center without deleting the eSIM.
