Asheville and Blue Ridge drives
Keep lodging, trailhead and meeting information offline before mountain drives. Terrain and distance from supported networks can limit signal, and road access or weather can change. Check current route and safety information with local authorities; do not rely on an eSIM as your only navigation or emergency method.
Putting the route together
Choose validity for your entire stay rather than just your arrival day. Download maps for each leg before leaving a connected area, and check the actual airport shown on your ticket. The data eSIM does not include transport, attraction admission or tours.
Need a US phone number too?
The data eSIM and the United States Virtual Phone Number are separate products. The virtual number is a monthly subscription that renews automatically. Check its calling and messaging terms; do not assume a number, calls or SMS come with the data eSIM.
Install and troubleshoot
- Choose a United States plan and validity, complete checkout and open the emailed QR code on another screen.
- Connect an unlocked eSIM-compatible phone to Wi-Fi. Add an eSIM from iPhone Cellular/Mobile Data settings or Android SIM manager/Network settings, then scan the code.
- Label the line AloOui and follow the delivery email. Do not delete the installed eSIM.
- On arrival, select AloOui for mobile data and follow the plan's activation instructions. If data fails, check validity and instructed roaming, toggle airplane mode and check any APN instructions. Visit the AloOui Help Center for help.
