Brunei eSIM

Brunei eSIM for city stays and short trips

Message your Bandar Seri Begawan host, check a tour booking or share Kampong Ayer photos where supported service is available. AloOui Brunei eSIM is a data-only travel eSIM for Brunei. Choose fixed data up to 20GB or Unlimited Lite, Essential and Plus for up to 10 days. Your QR code is delivered by email after purchase.

Choose your plan

• Lighter use: compare fixed 3GB or 5GB for 30 days for maps, messages and bookings between Wi-Fi connections.
• Balanced daily use: Essential provides 1GB of high-speed data daily, then data at up to 1.25 Mbps.
• Data-heavy use: Plus provides 2GB of high-speed data daily, then data at up to 2 Mbps, for more uploads or hotspot use where supported. More data does not extend rainforest coverage.

Prices may change. Always check the product page for the latest prices before purchasing. Select your exact option above for its current price.

Compare selectable plans

Standard Unlimited options are Lite. Daily high-speed allowances refresh each day. Unlimited does not mean unrestricted high-speed data. Fixed plans end when their allowance or validity runs out, whichever comes first, without reduced-speed continuation. Fixed allowances above 20GB, Unlimited durations above 10 days and Premium are not selectable. Plus is not Premium or Platinum.

Brunei network and coverage

The provider list specifies DST under Datastream Technology Sdn Bhd, supporting up to 5G where available. Actual connection and speed depend on your device, supported partner, location and local conditions. Neither 5G nor reception at every address, airport or trail is guaranteed.

Ulu Temburong, boat trips and border crossings

Save maps, tickets and tour meeting points offline before leaving reliable coverage. Confirm essential locations with support before purchasing, particularly Ulu Temburong rainforest routes, remote accommodation and waterways. The country entry does not independently establish reception at every park entrance, canopy walk or property. Arrange appropriate backup communications with your guide rather than relying on continuous mobile data for remote navigation or emergencies.

Check current park access, weather, tour arrangements and local restrictions separately. Satellite and maritime networks are not included; reception throughout boat journeys is not promised. This product lists Brunei only, not Malaysia. Journeys involving Miri, Kota Kinabalu or other Malaysian stops require separately confirmed coverage; no seamless country switching is promised.

Hotspot and calls

Hotspot depends on the selected plan, device and network; shared usage counts toward the same allowance. This data eSIM does not include a local phone number, native calls or SMS. Internet-based calling and messaging depend on connectivity and app availability.

If your device supports keeping your home SIM enabled, check its roaming charges, turn off its data roaming and avoid automatic data switching. No ID verification is required for the AloOui purchase; this does not waive local registration or legal requirements.

Compatibility, installation and activation

Check that your exact device model and regional version support eSIM and are carrier-unlocked. Install the emailed QR code over stable Wi-Fi using Add eSIM in your cellular or SIM settings.

Validity starts when the eSIM activates by connecting to a supported network in Brunei. Installation alone does not start validity. Enabling the line within supported coverage can start the plan. When ready, enable AloOui, select it for mobile data and turn on data roaming for that line.

APN and troubleshooting

1. Confirm AloOui is enabled, selected for mobile data and has data roaming on.
2. If manual APN setup is needed, enter data.esim with username and password blank, then save/select it.
3. Toggle airplane mode or restart your phone. Try 4G/LTE if 5G is unstable.
4. Try automatic network selection first. If needed, select DST and move to a stronger-signal area when safe.
5. Check remaining data and validity. Do not delete the eSIM or repeatedly scan a one-time QR code while troubleshooting.

Contact the AloOui Help Center with your order number, device model, location and error screenshots.
