Arriving at Cancún airport

Save your hotel address, transfer reservation and pickup instructions on airport Wi-Fi. After following the plan's activation guidance, your eSIM can provide mobile data for supported maps and messages while you find your onward transport. Confirm the terminal and pickup point with your transfer provider. The eSIM does not include an airport shuttle or a guaranteed connection at every terminal.

Resorts, day trips and Riviera Maya travel

If you are staying in Cancún, you may need less data than for a route through Playa del Carmen and Tulum. Pick a validity that covers the full trip. Download offline maps and bookings before excursions, ferry departures, cenotes or less-populated areas: signal and speeds vary by network, building and terrain, and data allowance does not guarantee coverage. Do not assume a Mexico-only eSIM works outside Mexico if your trip crosses a border.

Install and troubleshoot

1. Select a Mexico plan and duration, complete checkout and open the emailed QR code on a second screen.
2. Use stable Wi-Fi with an unlocked, eSIM-compatible phone. On iPhone, use Settings > Cellular/Mobile Data > Add eSIM > Use QR Code. On Android, find Add eSIM in SIM manager or Network & internet; menu names vary.
3. Scan the QR code, label your line AloOui and follow your delivery email. Do not delete the installed eSIM.
4. On arrival, choose AloOui for mobile data and follow the plan's activation guidance. If there is no connection, check validity, data and instructed roaming on that line, toggle airplane mode, compare the APN data.esim with the delivery email and try automatic network selection. Can I use the plan in Playa del Carmen or Tulum?

The selected Mexico plan is subject to local supported network coverage. Check your plan's destination terms and keep offline information for areas without signal.

Does fixed data reset every day?

No. It is one total allowance for the validity. Lite, Essential and Plus use daily full-speed allowances.

Do I get a Mexican phone number?

Do not assume calls, SMS or a local number are included. Review the selected plan's terms.
