Iraq eSIM

Which Iraq eSIM package should you choose?

AloOui Iraq eSIM starts at $10.35 USD for Unlimited Lite/1 day with 1GB of high-speed data, then up to 512 kbps for the rest of that day; fixed 1GB/7 days costs $12.33, with fixed packages up to 100GB and daily Lite, Essential and Plus options for up to 30 days.

Extra 20% off orders over $50 — use code EXTRA20 at checkout.

Message your host, check bookings or stay in touch with family where supported service is available. Your QR code is delivered by email after purchase. This data-only eSIM covers Iraq and has no local number, ordinary calls or SMS.

Compare allowance, duration and price

Lite/1 day is the lowest entry price, not a week-long package. Fixed 1GB/7 days costs $1.98 more and spreads one total allowance over up to seven days without reduced-speed continuation. Fixed 5GB/30 days suits lighter maps and messages between Wi-Fi connections. Essential/7 days is the balanced daily choice; Plus suits heavier uploads or supported sharing. Compare duration, allowance and total cost, particularly for longer daily plans. More data does not extend network coverage.

Prices may change. Always check the product page for the latest prices before purchasing.

Selectable plans and daily limits

• Fixed: 1GB/7 days, 2GB/15 days or 3GB, 5GB, 10GB, 20GB, 50GB or 100GB/30 days. Total allowances, not daily data.
• Lite: 1GB/day high-speed, then up to 512 kbps.
• Essential: 1GB/day high-speed, then up to 1.25 Mbps.
• Plus: 2GB/day high-speed, then up to 2 Mbps.

Lite, Essential and Plus offer 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 or 30 days. Standard Unlimited options are Lite. High-speed allowances refresh daily; reduced speeds apply for the rest of the day after that day's allowance is used. Unlimited does not mean unrestricted high-speed data. Fixed plans end at allowance exhaustion or validity expiry, whichever comes first, without reduced-speed continuation. Premium is not selectable; Plus is not Premium. Actual speeds depend on connectivity and can be below policy limits.

Iraq networks and coverage

The provider lists Korek Telecom and Zain Iraq, with Zain recorded under Atheer Telecommunications Iraq Limited, each supporting up to 4G where available. The Zain brand and operator labels are not additional separate partners. Asiacell is not listed and 5G is not established for this product. Connection and speed depend on your purchased option, device, partner, location and local conditions. Reception at every airport, address or route is not guaranteed.

Confirm essential locations

Confirm your exact locations with support before buying, including accommodation, work addresses, pilgrimage sites and routes in Baghdad, Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Najaf or Karbala. The country entry does not independently establish continuous reception across the Kurdistan Region or at every destination.

Save maps, tickets and essential contacts offline. Check current official travel advice, entry rules, local restrictions and your organisation's safety arrangements independently. This listing is not a recommendation to travel or confirmation of safe access. Connectivity does not grant permission to enter restricted areas. Arrange suitable backup communications rather than relying on the eSIM as your sole emergency communication method. Satellite networks are excluded.

Hotspot and calls

Hotspot depends on the selected package, device and network; confirm exact-option entitlement if sharing is essential. Shared usage counts toward the same allowance and speed limits. Internet-based calling and messaging require connectivity and app access.

If keeping your home SIM enabled on a compatible device, check roaming charges, turn off its data roaming and avoid automatic data switching. No ID verification is required for the AloOui purchase; this does not waive local identity, registration or other requirements.

Installation and activation

1. Check your exact device model and regional version support eSIM and are carrier-unlocked.
2. Install the emailed QR code over stable Wi-Fi, following your order's instructions. Keep the QR private.
3. When ready in supported Iraq coverage, enable AloOui, select it for mobile data and turn on its data roaming as instructed.

Validity starts when the eSIM connects to a supported network in Iraq, not QR delivery or installation alone. Enabling the line within supported coverage can start the package. Leaving and returning does not restart validity. Follow your purchased option's activation deadline, expiry and top-up instructions; these are separate from package duration. Immediate airport or in-flight connectivity is not guaranteed.

APN and connection help

1. Confirm AloOui is enabled, selected for mobile data and has data roaming on as instructed.
2. If manual APN setup is needed, enter data.esim with username and password blank, then save/select it. Follow your order if settings differ.
3. After installation completes, toggle airplane mode briefly or restart.
4. Try automatic network selection first. If needed, choose a partner confirmed by your order or support. Move locations only when safe.
5. Check remaining data and validity. Keep the eSIM installed while troubleshooting.

Ask support before deleting the profile, changing devices or rescanning the QR code; do not assume transfer, reinstallation or QR reuse is supported. AloOui provides 24/7 human support through the Help Center. Share your order, device, location and error privately.

Planning a wider trip?

Middle East & North Africa, Middle East & Africa and Middle East Long Trip do not list Iraq. Do not substitute a regional product based on its name. For longer multi-country travel, Global Max eSIM lists Iraq, but has its own destinations, networks, allowances and durations. Confirm your exact itinerary and selected option before buying; it is a separate purchase, not added coverage included here.
