Check your Dar es Salaam hotel address, message your safari guide or keep Zanzibar bookings handy where supported service is available.

Quick plan summary

• Coverage: Tanzania only, not Kenya or other neighboring countries.

Compare Tanzania packages

Choose fixed data for lighter use or longer stays between Wi-Fi connections. Essential is the balanced daily option for a week-long trip; Plus provides more high-speed data each day for heavier uploads or supported hotspot use. For 30-day stays, compare fixed data with Lite/30 days. Match allowance, duration and total cost to your itinerary rather than assuming Unlimited is the lowest-cost choice. Larger allowances do not extend safari coverage.

Prices may change. Always check the product page for the latest prices before purchasing.

How daily Unlimited works

• Lite: 1GB/day high-speed, then up to 512 kbps.
• Essential: 1GB/day high-speed, then up to 1.25 Mbps.
• Plus: 2GB/day high-speed, then up to 2 Mbps.

Standard options labeled Tanzania-United Republic of Unlimited are Lite. Daily high-speed allowances refresh each day; reduced speeds apply for the rest of the day after that day's allowance is used. Unlimited does not mean unrestricted high-speed data. Fixed plans end when their total allowance or validity runs out, whichever comes first, without reduced-speed continuation. Actual speeds depend on connectivity.

Networks and Tanzania coverage

The provider list includes Airtel Tanzania and Vodacom with support up to 5G. Confirm the supported partners for your exact option if needed. Actual connection and speed depend on your device, selected plan, supported partner, terrain and local conditions. A listed 5G network does not guarantee 5G at every location.

Safari, island stays and mountain routes

Use supported mobile data around Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Zanzibar and other locations with signal. Do not count on uninterrupted service throughout the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Kilimanjaro trails, remote lodges, ferries or outer islands. Download offline maps, safari bookings and emergency contacts before leaving reliable coverage. Check your exact itinerary with support before buying if connectivity at a particular location is essential. Arrange backup communications for remote excursions. Satellite and maritime networks are not included.

Hotspot and keeping your existing number

Hotspot depends on your selected plan, device and network; confirm exact-option terms if sharing is essential. Shared usage counts toward the same total or daily high-speed allowance and speed limits. Large uploads, backups and streaming can use data quickly.

This eSIM has no Tanzanian number, ordinary calls or SMS. Internet-based messaging and calling depend on app availability and connectivity. If retaining your home SIM, check its roaming charges, turn off its data roaming and avoid automatic data switching.

Compatibility, installation and activation

1. Check that your exact device model and regional version support eSIM and that the device is carrier-unlocked.
2. Install the emailed QR code over stable Wi-Fi through your cellular or SIM settings, following your order's instructions. Keep the QR private.
3. When ready in supported Tanzania coverage, enable AloOui, select it for mobile data and turn on its data roaming as instructed.

Validity starts when the eSIM connects to a supported network in Tanzania, not QR delivery or installation alone. If already within supported coverage, enabling the line and connecting can start the plan. Follow your purchased option's activation deadline, expiry and top-up instructions.

APN, connection help and 24/7 human support

1. Check AloOui is enabled, selected for mobile data and has data roaming on as instructed.
2. If an APN is required, enter data.esim with username and password blank, then save/select it. Some devices configure this automatically; follow your order if its settings differ.
3. After installation finishes, toggle airplane mode briefly or restart.
4. Start with automatic network selection. If needed, choose a supported partner confirmed in your order or by support; move to a stronger-signal area only when safe.
5. Check remaining data and validity. Keep the eSIM installed while troubleshooting.

Ask support before deleting the profile, changing devices or rescanning the QR code; do not assume transfer, reinstallation or QR reuse is supported.

AloOui provides 24/7 human customer support through the Help Center. Share your order number, exact device model, location and error privately.

Confirm every stop and each product's own networks, allowance, validity and current price. Regional coverage is not added to this Tanzania plan.
