Zambia eSIM

What's the best Zambia eSIM for your trip?

AloOui Zambia eSIM starts at $14.35 USD for 1GB of total data over 7 days, with larger fixed packages and Unlimited Lite, Essential and Plus for Lusaka stays, Livingstone visits and supported tour routes.

Keep your accommodation details handy, check a meeting location or message family between tour stops where supported coverage is available.

Quick plan summary

• Coverage: Zambia only, not Zimbabwe, Botswana or other neighboring countries.
• Fixed data: 1GB/7 days, 2GB/15 days or 3GB, 5GB, 10GB or 20GB/30 days. These are total allowances, not daily amounts.
• Daily Unlimited: Lite, Essential and Plus for 1, 3, 5, 7, 10 or 15 days. No 30-day Unlimited or Premium option is selectable; Plus is not Premium.
• Networks: MTN Zambia up to 4G and Airtel Zambia with 4G/5G, subject to your purchased option, device and local conditions.
• Data only: no Zambian number, ordinary calls or SMS.
• Delivery: QR code by email after purchase. No ID verification required for the AloOui purchase.

Compare Zambia packages

Fixed data suits lighter use for maps, messages and bookings between Wi-Fi connections. Essential is the balanced daily option; Plus provides more high-speed data each day for heavier uploads or supported hotspot use. Compare total trip cost carefully: fixed 5GB costs considerably less than either seven-day daily option when that total allowance is sufficient. For a 30-day visit, compare fixed allowances up to 20GB. Larger allowances do not extend safari coverage.

Prices may change. Always check the product page for the latest prices before purchasing.

How daily Unlimited works

• Lite: 1GB/day high-speed, then up to 512 kbps.
• Essential: 1GB/day high-speed, then up to 1.25 Mbps.
• Plus: 2GB/day high-speed, then up to 2 Mbps.

Standard Zambia Unlimited options are Lite. Daily high-speed allowances refresh each day; reduced speeds apply for the rest of the day after that day's allowance is used. Unlimited does not mean unrestricted high-speed data. Fixed plans end when their total allowance or validity runs out, whichever comes first, without reduced-speed continuation. Actual speeds depend on connectivity.

Zambia coverage and networks

MTN Zambia is listed up to 4G; Airtel Zambia lists 4G/5G support. Confirm the supported partners for your exact option if needed. Available speeds depend on your purchased plan, device, supported network and local conditions. 5G and reception at every location are not guaranteed.

Victoria Falls visits, safari camps and remote routes

Save lodge directions, bookings and tour contacts offline before visiting South Luangwa, Lower Zambezi or Kafue. Remote roads and camps can have limited or no service. A Zambia plan does not cover the Zimbabwean side of Victoria Falls. Do not rely on mobile data as your only means of communication on remote excursions; ask your accommodation or tour operator about backup connectivity. Maritime and satellite networks are not included.

Hotspot and keeping your existing number

Hotspot depends on your selected plan, device and network; confirm exact-option terms if sharing is essential. Shared usage counts toward the same total or daily high-speed allowance and speed limits. Large uploads, backups and streaming can use data quickly.

This eSIM has no Zambian number, ordinary calls or SMS. Internet-based messaging and calling depend on app availability and connectivity. If retaining your home SIM, check its roaming charges, turn off its data roaming and avoid automatic data switching.

Compatibility, installation and activation

1. Check that your exact device model and regional version support eSIM and that the device is carrier-unlocked.
2. Install the emailed QR code over stable Wi-Fi through your cellular or SIM settings, following your order's instructions. Keep the QR private.
3. When ready in supported Zambia coverage, enable AloOui, select it for mobile data and turn on its data roaming as instructed.

Validity starts when the eSIM connects to a supported network in Zambia, not QR delivery or installation alone. If already within supported coverage, enabling the line and connecting can start the plan.

You can top up the eSIM for a maximum of six months. This top-up window is separate from each purchased plan's validity and does not make a plan valid for six months. Follow your purchased option's activation deadline, expiry and top-up instructions.

APN, connection help and 24/7 human support

1. Check AloOui is enabled, selected for mobile data and has data roaming on as instructed.
2. If an APN is required, enter data.esim with username and password blank, then save/select it. Some devices configure this automatically; follow your order if its settings differ.
3. After installation finishes, toggle airplane mode briefly or restart. Try 4G/LTE if 5G is unstable.
4. Start with automatic network selection. If needed, choose a supported partner confirmed in your order or by support.
5. Check remaining data and validity. Keep the eSIM installed while troubleshooting.

Ask support before deleting the profile, changing devices or rescanning the QR code; do not assume transfer, reinstallation or QR reuse is supported.

AloOui provides 24/7 human customer support through the Help Center. Share your order number, exact device model, location and error privately.

Regional alternative for a wider trip

The separate Africa eSIM covers Egypt, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Morocco, Nigeria, Réunion, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda and Zambia. Zimbabwe and Botswana are not in that list. Confirm every stop and its own networks, allowance, validity and current price. It is a separate purchase, not additional coverage included with this Zambia plan.
