Fixed data

One total allowance for selected validity, not a daily reset.

Unlimited Lite

Shown as United States of America Unlimited. Compare daily full-speed allowance and reduced-speed terms.

Unlimited Essential

A balanced daily tier for directions, reservations and messages. Check exact full-speed terms.

Unlimited Plus

For heavier use, compare daily allowance, validity and hotspot terms. Plus is not Premium.

No Premium tier is selectable on the US product. Check data, speed, hotspot terms and current price on the United States plan page. More data cannot create coverage in an unserved area.

Chicago starting point

Save the arrival airport shown on your ticket, hotel address and onward travel booking before leaving Wi-Fi. For city-specific planning, see the published Chicago eSIM guide. This page is for combining the city with an Illinois road trip.

Illinois Route 66 and Springfield

Plan your driving stages and save offline maps, lodging addresses and attraction confirmations. Check current opening hours and road conditions with the relevant providers; a route name does not guarantee every historic stop is open. In Springfield, keep museum or historic-site tickets available offline. The data eSIM does not include transport, entry or tours.

Optional nature detour

If adding Starved Rock State Park or other countryside stops, check current trail access, weather and local safety notices. Mobile coverage can vary on trails, in valleys and inside buildings. Do not use the eSIM as your only navigation or emergency method.

Need a US phone number too?

The data eSIM and the United States Virtual Phone Number are separate products. The virtual number is a monthly subscription that renews automatically. Check its calling and messaging terms; do not assume calls or SMS come with the data eSIM.

Install and troubleshoot

  1. Choose a United States plan and validity, complete checkout and open the emailed QR code on another screen.
  2. Connect an unlocked eSIM-compatible phone to Wi-Fi. Add an eSIM from iPhone Cellular/Mobile Data settings or Android SIM manager/Network settings, then scan the code.
  3. Label the line AloOui and follow the delivery email. Do not delete the installed eSIM.
  4. On arrival, select AloOui for mobile data and follow the plan's activation instructions. If data fails, check validity and instructed roaming, toggle airplane mode and check any APN guidance. Visit the AloOui Help Center for assistance.
