Germany eSIM

AloOui Germany Premium Unlimited — for heavy data users

Need substantial high-speed data for video calls, uploads, remote work or data-intensive travel? Compare Germany Premium Unlimited: 30GB for 5 days at $40, 60GB for 10 days at $60 or 90GB for 15 days at $80. After the included high-speed pool is used, unlimited data continues at up to 2 Mbps until validity ends. The high-speed allowance covers the whole plan, not each day, and does not reset daily.

The upfront-price cost per included high-speed GB is approximately $1.33 for 5 days, $1.00 for 10 days and $0.89 for 15 days. The 90GB/15-day Premium option offers three times the high-speed data and validity of the 30GB/5-day option for twice the price. Choose it when the extra data and days are useful, not simply because its unit price is lower. Actual performance depends on local connectivity; confirm the selected variant's hotspot permission and limits before relying on laptop sharing.

Choose your Germany plan

• Heavy or uneven use: Premium Unlimited. Compare 30GB/5 days for $40, 60GB/10 days for $60 or 90GB/15 days for $80 for substantial browsing, video calls and uploads. Its whole-plan pool lets you use more on busy days and less on quieter days, with no daily reset. After the pool is used, data continues at up to 2 Mbps until validity ends. Match trip duration, consumption and total spend; confirm hotspot permission and limits for laptop use.
• A 2GB daily high-speed allowance: Unlimited Plus. Choose Plus when you prefer 2GB of high-speed data each day, then data at up to 2 Mbps. The high-speed allowance resets daily. Plus is not Premium.
• Balanced daily use: Unlimited Essential. Includes 1GB of high-speed data daily, then data at up to 1.25 Mbps, with a daily reset. Compare when the allowance, reduced speed and price fit your needs.
• Lighter daily use: Unlimited Lite. Includes 1GB of high-speed data daily, then data at up to 512 kbps, with a daily reset. Compare with Essential based on budget and your required reduced-speed experience.
• A defined package or lower upfront spend: fixed data. Compare fixed 5GB or 10GB for 30 days for maps, messages and bookings between Wi-Fi connections. Choose a pool and validity that cover your needs; fixed plans do not include unlimited continuation after the allowance is used.

Premium is not the best choice for every traveler. Compare trip duration, expected data use, speed needs and budget. Prices checked 9 October 2026 in USD. Prices may change. Always check the product page for the latest prices before purchasing.

Compare selectable plans

Standard Germany Unlimited options are Lite. Daily high-speed allowances refresh each day only for Lite, Essential and Plus; Premium does not reset daily. Unlimited does not mean unrestricted high-speed data. Fixed plans end when their allowance or validity runs out, whichever comes first, without reduced-speed continuation. Actual speeds depend on available connectivity. Premium remains distinct from Plus and Platinum.

Which Premium plan offers the best value?

5 days for shorter trips: 30GB for $40 has the smallest upfront price of these three Premium options, approximately $1.33 per included high-speed GB.

10 days for medium-length trips: 60GB for $60 costs $1.00 per included high-speed GB.

15 days for longer, heavier-use stays: 90GB for $80 has the lowest upfront-price cost per included high-speed GB among these three choices, approximately $0.89. It provides three times the high-speed data and validity of the 5-day option for twice the price.

These figures divide the upfront price by the included high-speed GB, not actual consumption or reduced-speed continuation. Unused data or days can make a smaller plan more suitable. All three continue with unlimited data at up to 2 Mbps after their high-speed pool is used, until validity ends, with no daily reset. Prices may change. Always check the product page for the latest prices before purchasing.

Germany networks and coverage

The provider list specifies O2 Germany and Vodafone Germany with support up to 5G. O2 appears under two provider entries; these are not presented as separate network brands. Connection and speeds depend on your device, supported partner and local conditions; 5G is not guaranteed everywhere.

This product lists Germany only, not Austria, Switzerland, France or other neighboring countries. Confirm every destination for cross-border rail journeys and road trips.

Festivals, trains and countryside routes

Save tickets, maps and accommodation details offline before leaving reliable coverage. Reception can vary in tunnels, on rural rail routes, in the Black Forest and in Alpine areas. Busy events such as Oktoberfest or trade fairs can also affect data performance. A country entry does not confirm reception at every venue, hotel or trail. Check with support before purchase if connectivity at a particular property is essential. Satellite networks are not included.

Hotspot and keeping your existing number

Hotspot use depends on the selected plan, device and network; shared usage counts toward the same allowance. Stored Premium specifications do not confirm hotspot permission or sharing limits, so ask support before relying on laptop tethering. This data eSIM does not include a German phone number, native calls or SMS. Internet-based messaging and calling depend on connectivity and app availability.

You can keep your home SIM for calls or SMS if your device supports the arrangement. Check its roaming charges, turn off its data roaming and avoid automatic data switching.

Compatibility, installation and activation

Check that your exact device model and regional version support eSIM and are carrier-unlocked. Install the emailed QR code over stable Wi-Fi using Add eSIM in your cellular or SIM settings.

Validity starts when the eSIM first uses data on a supported network in Germany. Installation alone does not start validity. If already in Germany, enabling the line and connecting can start the plan. When ready, enable AloOui, select it for mobile data and follow the order's roaming instructions for that line.

APN and troubleshooting

1. Check that AloOui is enabled and selected for mobile data. Apply roaming settings to that line when your order requires them.
2. If manual APN setup is needed, enter data.esim with username and password blank, then save/select it. Some devices configure this automatically.
3. After installation has completed, a brief airplane-mode toggle or restart may refresh registration. Do not interrupt an active profile download.
4. Start with automatic network selection unless your order specifies otherwise. Choose manually only when the order or support identifies a supported partner.
5. Check remaining data and validity. Keep the installed eSIM unless support instructs you to delete it, and do not assume a QR code can be reused.

Contact the AloOui Help Center with your order number, device model, location and error screenshots if service still fails.
