• Balanced daily use: Essential provides 1GB of high-speed data daily, then data at up to 1.25 Mbps.
• Data-heavy use: Plus provides 2GB of high-speed data daily, then data at up to 2 Mbps, for more uploads or hotspot use where supported. A larger allowance does not extend remote coverage.

Compare selectable plans

Standard Unlimited options are Lite. Daily high-speed allowances refresh each day. Unlimited does not mean unrestricted high-speed data. Fixed plans end when their allowance or validity runs out, whichever comes first, without reduced-speed continuation. Fixed allowances above 10GB, Unlimited durations above 7 days and Premium are not selectable. Plus is not Premium or Platinum.

Mongolia networks and coverage

The provider list specifies Mobicom under Mobi Com Corporation, and Unitel, each supporting up to 4G where available. It does not establish 5G service. Actual connection and speed depend on your device, supported partner, location and local conditions. Reception at every ger camp, road or property is not guaranteed.

Gobi, steppe and remote itineraries

Save maps, tickets, contacts and accommodation details offline before leaving reliable coverage. Confirm essential locations with support before purchasing, particularly Gobi routes, Khövsgöl, western Mongolia, remote ger camps or railway journeys. The country entry does not independently establish continuous reception along each route or at each attraction.

Check current access, tour arrangements, weather and local safety guidance separately. Arrange appropriate backup communications for remote travel rather than relying on continuous mobile data for navigation or emergencies. Satellite and maritime networks are not included. Border crossings into China or Russia require separate confirmed destination coverage.

Hotspot and calls

Hotspot depends on the selected plan, device and network; shared usage counts toward the same allowance. This data eSIM does not include a local phone number, native calls or SMS. Internet-based calling and messaging depend on connectivity and app availability.

If your device supports keeping your home SIM enabled, check its roaming charges, turn off its data roaming and avoid automatic data switching. No ID verification is required for the AloOui purchase; this does not waive local registration or legal requirements.

Compatibility, installation and activation

Check that your exact device model and regional version support eSIM and are carrier-unlocked. Install the emailed QR code over stable Wi-Fi using Add eSIM in your cellular or SIM settings.

Validity starts when the eSIM activates by connecting to a supported network in Mongolia. Installation alone does not start validity. Enabling the line within supported coverage can start the plan. When ready, enable AloOui, select it for mobile data and turn on data roaming for that line.

APN and troubleshooting

1. Confirm AloOui is enabled, selected for mobile data and has data roaming on.
2. If manual APN setup is needed, enter data.esim with username and password blank, then save/select it.
3. Toggle airplane mode or restart your phone.
4. Try automatic network selection first. If needed, select a supported partner and move to a stronger-signal area.
5. Check remaining data and validity. Do not delete the eSIM or repeatedly scan a one-time QR code while troubleshooting.

Planning a wider trip?

Asia eSIM and CIS eSIM do not list Mongolia. Do not substitute either based on its regional name. Confirm every destination, allowance, validity and current price before purchasing a multi-country option.
