Daily limits and Premium explained

• Lite: 1GB/day high-speed, then up to 512 kbps.
• Essential: 1GB/day high-speed, then up to 1.25 Mbps.
• Plus: 2GB/day high-speed, then up to 2 Mbps.

Standard Unlimited options are Lite. Lite, Essential and Plus refresh their high-speed allowances daily; reduced speeds apply for the rest of the day after the daily allowance is used. Premium instead has 30GB, 60GB or 90GB high-speed for the whole 5-, 10- or 15-day plan respectively, with no daily reset, then up to 2 Mbps until expiry. Unlimited does not mean unrestricted high-speed data. Fixed plans end when their allowance or validity runs out, whichever comes first, without reduced-speed continuation.

New Zealand coverage and networks

South Island drives, Fiordland and hiking routes

Download maps, tickets and accommodation details before rural drives, Milford Sound visits, mountain routes or hiking trips. Valleys, tunnels and remote areas can have limited or no signal. Do not assume continuous reception along a South Island road trip or on remote trails. Confirm essential locations before buying and arrange appropriate wilderness communications rather than relying on mobile data alone. Sea and shipboard networks are not included. A larger allowance does not extend coverage.

Hotspot and data-only service

Hotspot depends on your selected plan, device and network. Shared usage counts toward the same total or high-speed allowance and speed limits. Premium-specific hotspot terms are not established here; confirm your exact option before buying for laptop work or large uploads.

Compatibility, installation and activation
