Which destinations and networks are included?

The current Oceania supplier record contains two destinations: Australia and New Zealand.

• Australia: Optus, with 4G/5G listed, and Telstra, listed up to 4G for this plan.
• New Zealand: One New Zealand and Spark, with 4G/5G listed.

Network technology depends on the partner, compatible device and local conditions. Listed operators do not guarantee reception at every address or route.

Also visiting Pacific islands?

Do not use this regional plan's name as proof of Pacific-island coverage. Fiji, Papua New Guinea, French Polynesia and Cook Islands are not listed in the current Oceania provider record. A separate country product does not expand this regional plan's coverage. Check a destination-specific product and its service area for each onward stop.

Australia road trips and New Zealand mountain travel

Download maps, tickets, accommodation details and important contacts before leaving connected areas. Outback routes, national parks, mountain roads and campsites may have limited or no reception. An eSIM cannot create signal where no supported network is available. Ferry and offshore reception are not guaranteed.

Installation and activation

Check that your exact device model and regional version support eSIM and are carrier-unlocked. Install your emailed QR code over stable Wi-Fi. Validity starts when the eSIM activates by connecting to a supported network in a covered destination, not installation alone. Enabling the line within supported coverage can start the plan.

When ready, select AloOui for mobile data and enable data roaming for that line. Traveling between Australia and New Zealand does not reset validity or replenish a fixed-data allowance. Check home-carrier charges if retaining your home SIM for calls or SMS.

Hotspot and communication

Hotspot depends on your device and network, and shared usage counts toward the same allowance. This data-only eSIM does not include a number, native calls or SMS. App-based calls and messages require connectivity and consume data.

Connection troubleshooting

Check the enabled line, mobile-data selection, roaming, allowance and validity. If manual APN setup is required, enter data.esim with username and password blank. Toggle airplane mode or restart. Try automatic network selection first, then a listed supported partner for your location if needed. Do not delete the eSIM while troubleshooting; contact the AloOui Help Center.

Oceania plan FAQs

Does Oceania cover Fiji?

No. The current regional provider record includes Australia and New Zealand, not Fiji.

Does a separate Fiji product mean Fiji is included here?

No. Separate destination products have their own coverage and allowances.

Which plan is balanced for everyday travel?

Essential provides 1GB/day high-speed data and a higher reduced-speed limit than Lite. Choose Plus for a larger daily high-speed allowance.

Is Plus Premium?

No. Plus and Premium are different plan types; Premium is not currently selectable here.

Can I buy a 30-day Unlimited plan?

Yes. Lite, Essential and Plus offer a selectable 30-day option on this product.

Does installation start validity?

No. Validity starts on activation by connection to a supported destination network.

Does crossing between the two countries reset the plan?

No. The same validity continues, and a fixed allowance remains shared.

Is Telstra 5G included?

Telstra is listed up to 4G for this eSIM. Optus lists 5G, subject to device and coverage.

Does it work throughout remote routes?

Continuous reception is not guaranteed. Keep essential information offline.

Does it include calls or SMS?

No. This is a data-only travel eSIM.
