Buy an eSIM for São Vicente and Mindelo

Planning Mindelo music nights and a São Vicente island stay? AloOui's active Cabo Verde eSIM lists São Vicente in its destination information. Choose it for directions, reservations and messages where supported local coverage is available. Your QR code is emailed after purchase. This guide is about São Vicente's urban and cultural trip, not another Sal or Boa Vista beach itinerary.

No Premium tier is selectable on the Cabo Verde product. Check data, speeds, hotspot conditions and current price on the live Cabo Verde plan page. More data cannot extend local coverage.

Mindelo arrival and evenings

Save the airport or ferry arrival shown on your booking, lodging address and return transport details before leaving Wi-Fi. If attending a performance, confirm the venue schedule and ticket requirements directly with its operator. Service can vary inside buildings and busy venues; admission and transport are separate.

Island exploring

Download offline maps before traveling beyond Mindelo. Terrain, supported network reach and local conditions can affect signal on quieter roads and coastal viewpoints. Check current access, weather and safety information before setting out, and never rely on the eSIM as your only emergency method.

Ferry connections

If your trip continues to Santo Antão or another island, keep ferry reservations, departure location and return time offline. Review the selected Cabo Verde plan's destination terms for your route. Do not assume cellular service on the ferry or offshore; the eSIM does not include boat transport.

Install and troubleshoot

1. Choose a Cabo Verde plan and validity, complete checkout and open the emailed QR code on another screen.
2. Connect an unlocked eSIM-compatible phone to Wi-Fi. Add an eSIM from iPhone Cellular/Mobile Data settings or Android SIM manager/Network settings, then scan the code.
3. Label the line AloOui and follow the delivery email. Do not delete the installed eSIM.
4. On arrival, select AloOui for mobile data and follow the selected plan's activation instructions. If data fails where signal exists, check validity and instructed roaming, toggle airplane mode and follow any APN guidance. Visit the AloOui Help Center for assistance.
