Buy an eSIM for Santiago Island, Cabo Verde

Planning Praia and Cidade Velha on Santiago Island? AloOui's active Cabo Verde eSIM names Santiago, Praia and Cidade Velha in its destination information. Choose it for directions, bookings and messages where supported local mobile coverage exists. Your QR code is emailed after purchase. This is a Santiago city-and-heritage route, distinct from the Sal and Boa Vista beach guides and São Vicente's Mindelo guide.

Compare Cabo Verde plans for Santiago

No Premium tier is selectable on the Cabo Verde product. Review data, speeds, hotspot terms and current price on the live plan page. More data does not extend network reach.

Arriving in Praia

Save the airport or transport arrival on your ticket, accommodation address and pickup details before leaving Wi-Fi. Check opening times for any city stop directly with its operator. Local service can vary inside buildings and busy areas; the eSIM does not include transport or admissions.

Cidade Velha day trip

Keep a map, meeting point and return transport details available offline. Check current heritage-site access, tours and ticket requirements before travel. Do not promise reception inside old structures or along every part of the road.

Longer island days and connections

Choose enough validity for your entire route. Download maps before quieter road trips and check weather and local travel guidance. If continuing by sea or air, confirm destination coverage and operator schedules; no cellular service is guaranteed aboard a ferry or offshore.

Install and troubleshoot

1. Choose a Cabo Verde plan and validity, complete checkout and open the emailed QR code on another screen.
2. Connect an unlocked eSIM-compatible phone to Wi-Fi. Add an eSIM from iPhone Cellular/Mobile Data settings or Android SIM manager/Network settings, then scan the code.
3. Label the line AloOui and follow the delivery email. Do not delete the installed eSIM.
4. On arrival, select AloOui for mobile data and follow your plan's activation instructions. If data fails where signal exists, check validity and instructed roaming, toggle airplane mode and follow any APN guidance. Visit the AloOui Help Center for assistance.
