Wellington eSIM
Buy a Wellington eSIM for your New Zealand trip
Arriving in Wellington for a capital-city stay or an onward journey? Choose an AloOui New Zealand eSIM for directions, bookings and messages where supported local mobile coverage is available. Your QR code is delivered by email after purchase. This guide links to the existing New Zealand eSIM plans, not a separate Wellington-only product.
Compare total and daily data allowances for your full trip. Prices can change, so check the current amount and exact duration in the plan selector before checkout.

Fixed data
One total allowance for the selected validity, not per day. A 1GB/7-day option and larger allowances are selectable; review the exact data terms.
Unlimited Lite
Shown as New Zealand Unlimited in the selector. Compare its daily full-speed allowance, reduced-speed terms and selected duration.
Unlimited Essential
A selectable daily tier to compare for city maps, messages and bookings. Review the exact high-speed amount and continued-data terms.
Unlimited Plus
Compare this daily tier for more full-speed data. Plus is not Premium; check its allowance, duration and hotspot terms.
Unlimited Premium
Selectable 30GB/5 days, 60GB/10 days or 90GB/15 days. Compare its total high-speed allowance, continued-data and hotspot terms for heavier use.
Fixed data and Premium use total allowances for the chosen validity; Lite, Essential and Plus use daily allowances. Confirm the exact speed, hotspot, validity and live price on the New Zealand product page.
Arriving in Wellington
Save your airport arrival information, accommodation address and transfer instructions while connected to Wi-Fi. After following the selected plan's activation guidance, supported mobile data can help with directions into the city. Check transport providers for live schedules and fares; an eSIM provides data, not a ticket or guaranteed reception inside every terminal.
Capital-city days and onward connections
Use supported data for directions to your hotel, waterfront plans and booked meetings or attractions. If you continue by ferry or road, save tickets, offline maps and meeting points before departure. Coverage at sea and on remote routes is not guaranteed, and a larger data allowance cannot create signal where there is none. Choose validity for the entire New Zealand journey, not just your Wellington stay.
Install and troubleshoot
- Choose a New Zealand plan and duration, complete checkout and open the emailed QR code on another screen.
- Connect an unlocked, eSIM-compatible phone to stable Wi-Fi. On iPhone, open Settings > Cellular/Mobile Data > Add eSIM > Use QR Code. On Android, find Add eSIM in SIM manager or Network & internet; labels vary.
- Scan the code, label the new line AloOui and follow your delivery email. Do not delete the installed eSIM.
- On arrival, choose AloOui for mobile data and follow the selected plan's activation guidance. If data fails, check validity, mobile data and instructed roaming on that line, toggle airplane mode, verify any APN instructions in the delivery email and try automatic network selection.
