The current product-level and per-plan destination records agree on these 12 entries. This is not blanket Africa coverage. Ghana, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe are not included. For Victoria Falls, Zambia is included but Zimbabwe is not. Check every stop on your route before buying.

• A larger whole-trip allowance: fixed 5GB for 30 days costs $74.85.
• Balanced daily use: Essential provides 1GB/day high-speed data, then up to 1.25 Mbps for the rest of that day. Its 7-day option costs $188.86.
• More daily high-speed data: Plus provides 2GB/day, then up to 2 Mbps. Its 7-day option costs $377.70. Consider it for more uploads or laptop sharing where local connectivity supports your needs.
• Trips beyond 15 days: compare fixed 10GB or 20GB for 30 days. Unlimited options on this listing stop at 15 days.

These options have different allowances and validity periods. Compare your trip length, expected use and budget rather than treating them as equivalent packages.

Compare all selectable plan types

Standard Unlimited options are Lite. Daily high-speed allowances reset each day; reduced-speed data continues for the rest of that day after the allowance is used. Unlimited does not mean unrestricted high-speed data. Fixed data is one total allowance shared across included destinations, with no reduced-speed continuation after it is used. Service ends at expiry. No Premium or 30-day Unlimited option is currently selectable.

Planning a safari or remote-area trip?

Mobile signal may be limited or unavailable in national parks, game reserves, deserts and rural areas. Save maps, tickets and accommodation details offline before leaving a connected area. Upload photos when reliable mobile coverage or lodge Wi-Fi is available. An eSIM does not create coverage where there is no network signal.

These names match the network-bearing plan records. The 1-day Unlimited Lite and 5-day Unlimited Essential records list all 12 destinations but do not name local networks; confirm their supported partners with AloOui support if essential to your trip. Missing network details do not remove their listed coverage. Some partners record 5G, others record up to 4G or have unspecified generations. Airtel Madagascar, Mauritius Telecom and Maroc Telecom are listed up to 4G. Orange Reunion has unspecified generations. Unspecified technology is not a 4G or 5G guarantee. Access, technology, speed and reception depend on your selected plan, supported partner, device and location.

Hotspot and data-only service

Check hotspot availability and any sharing limits in your selected plan's instructions or with AloOui support before relying on laptop connectivity. Where supported, shared usage counts toward the same total or daily allowance, and reduced speeds also affect shared data. Remote-work and video-call performance are not guaranteed.

This eSIM has no local phone number, native calls or SMS. Internet-based calling and messaging use mobile data, subject to local service availability. If you retain your home SIM, check its roaming charges and turn off its data roaming.

Install before departure, activate when ready

Use an eSIM-compatible, carrier-unlocked device and stable Wi-Fi. Install the emailed QR code through your phone's cellular or SIM settings, following your order's instructions. Restart your phone after downloading the profile.

Validity starts when the eSIM connects to a supported network in an included destination, not simply on installation. If already in an included destination, enabling the line and connecting can start the plan. Crossing borders does not restart validity or replenish fixed data.

When ready, select AloOui for mobile data and apply your exact order's activation and roaming settings. Disable automatic mobile-data switching to your home SIM where available. Check your purchased option's terms for any deadline to start using it, eSIM expiry and top-up rules.

APN and connection help

1. Confirm AloOui is enabled and selected for mobile data. Check the roaming settings supplied with your order.
2. If an APN is required, use only the APN and related settings supplied for your purchased plan. Ask support rather than substituting a generic value.
3. Toggle airplane mode or restart. Try 4G/LTE where supported if an available 5G connection is unstable.
4. Start with automatic network selection unless your order says otherwise. Select manually only when your order or support identifies a supported partner for your current destination.
5. Check remaining data and validity. Keep the installed eSIM unless support directs deletion, and keep your QR code private.

Does this work throughout Africa?

No. Only the 12 listed destinations are included.

Are Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa included?

Yes, subject to supported local coverage. Signal is not guaranteed throughout parks or reserves.

Is Zimbabwe included?

No. Zambia is included, but Zimbabwe is not.

Can I buy Unlimited for 30 days?

No. Current Unlimited options run up to 15 days. Selected fixed-data options include 30-day validity.

How do Lite, Essential and Plus differ?

Lite and Essential each provide 1GB/day high-speed data, followed by up to 512 kbps and up to 1.25 Mbps respectively. Plus provides 2GB/day, followed by up to 2 Mbps. High-speed allowances reset daily.

When does validity start?

When the eSIM connects to a supported destination network, not simply on installation.

Does it include a phone number or SMS?

No. This is a data-only travel eSIM.

Can I share data?

Check hotspot availability and any sharing limits for your selected plan in its instructions or with AloOui support. Where supported, sharing uses the same allowance and speed limits.

Is 5G guaranteed?

No. Access and performance depend on your selected option, supported partner, device, location and local conditions.

What if there is no internet?

Follow your purchased plan's activation and APN instructions, use the troubleshooting steps above and contact the AloOui Help Center. Keep the eSIM installed unless support directs deletion.
