• Balanced everyday use: Unlimited Essential provides 1GB of high-speed data daily, then continued data at up to 1.25 Mbps for the rest of that day.
• Data-heavy travel: Unlimited Plus provides 2GB of high-speed data daily, then continued data at up to 2 Mbps. Compare the separate selectable Premium options too, checking their allowance and hotspot terms before purchase.

Compare selectable plans

Standard Australia Unlimited options are Lite. Daily high-speed allowances on Lite, Essential and Plus refresh each day; reduced speeds apply after that day's allowance is used. Unlimited does not mean unrestricted high-speed data. Fixed plans end when their total allowance or validity runs out, whichever comes first, without reduced-speed continuation. Plus is not Premium: do not apply Plus's daily allowance to a Premium option.

Australia coverage and supported networks

This plan covers Australia only, not New Zealand. Listed partners are Optus and Telstra. Optus lists 4G/5G support; Telstra is listed up to 4G for this product. Available service depends on your device, partner and local conditions. A listed network does not promise access to every part of its domestic coverage footprint.

Planning rural drives or Outback travel?

Download maps, bookings and route details before leaving towns. Long rural roads, national parks and Outback routes can have limited or no mobile signal. Do not rely on this eSIM as your only means of communication in remote areas. Neither 5G nor continuous reception along a road trip is guaranteed.

Hotspot and data-only service

Hotspot sharing depends on your selected plan, device and network. Shared usage counts toward the same allowance. Check Premium-specific hotspot terms before buying for remote work or large uploads.

This eSIM does not include an Australian phone number, native calls or SMS. Use internet-based messaging and calling apps through mobile data. If you keep your home SIM for calls or SMS, check its roaming charges and turn off its data roaming.

Install before departure, activate when ready

Use an eSIM-compatible, carrier-unlocked device and stable Wi-Fi to install the QR code from your email. Choose Add eSIM in your phone's cellular or SIM settings; menus vary by device.

Validity starts when the eSIM activates by connecting to a supported Australian network. Installation alone does not start validity. If you are already in Australia, enabling the line and connecting can start your plan.

When ready, enable AloOui, select it for mobile data and turn on data roaming for that line. Disable automatic mobile-data switching to your home SIM where available.

APN and connection help

1. Check that AloOui is enabled, selected for mobile data and has data roaming on.
2. If an APN is required, enter data.esim, leave username and password blank, and save/select it. Some devices configure this automatically.
3. Toggle airplane mode or restart your phone. Try 4G/LTE if 5G is unstable.
4. Start with automatic network selection. If needed, choose a supported partner listed in your plan instructions.
5. Check remaining data and validity. Do not delete the eSIM while troubleshooting; contact support first.

Optus with 4G/5G support and Telstra up to 4G for this product, subject to device and local conditions.

Is Outback reception guaranteed?

No. Remote routes can have no signal. Keep essential information offline and plan appropriate remote-travel communications.

When does validity start?

On activation by connection to a supported Australian network, not simply on installation.

Is Plus the same as Premium?

No. Plus has a daily high-speed allowance. Premium is a separate selectable tier in 5-, 10- and 15-day options; check its specific terms.

Does it include a local phone number?

No. This is a data-only travel eSIM.

What if there is no internet?

Follow the APN and connection steps above, then contact the AloOui Help Center without deleting the eSIM.
