Balkans eSIM

Which Balkans eSIM should you choose for your trip?

AloOui Balkans eSIM starts at $8.31 USD for 1GB of total data over 7 days across 11 listed destinations, with fixed packages up to 100GB, long-stay options up to 180 days and Unlimited Lite, Essential and Plus for up to 30 days.

Keep Dubrovnik bookings handy, navigate to Kotor or check your next bus from Sarajevo using one package across covered stops. Your QR code is delivered by email after purchase. This data-only eSIM has no number, ordinary calls or SMS.

Fixed 5GB/30 days suits lighter maps, messages and bookings between Wi-Fi connections. Essential/15 days is the balanced daily choice for a two-week road trip; Plus/15 days suits heavier uploads or supported hotspot use. The fixed plan lasts longer but provides less total high-speed data and no reduced-speed continuation. For extended stays, choose by total usage as well as duration. A larger package does not extend remote coverage.

Prices may change. Always check the product page for the latest prices before purchasing.

Selectable allowances and durations

• Fixed data: 1GB/7 days; 2GB/15 days; 3GB, 5GB, 10GB, 20GB, 50GB or 100GB/30 days.
• Long-stay fixed data: 20GB/60 days; 50GB or 100GB/90 days; 100GB/180 days.
• Daily Unlimited: Lite, Essential and Plus for 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 or 30 days. Premium is not selectable. Plus is not Premium.

Fixed data is one total allowance shared across covered destinations, not per day or per country. Service ends at allowance exhaustion or validity expiry, whichever comes first, without reduced-speed continuation.

How daily Unlimited works

• Lite: 1GB/day high-speed, then up to 512 kbps.
• Essential: 1GB/day high-speed, then up to 1.25 Mbps.
• Plus: 2GB/day high-speed, then up to 2 Mbps.

Standard Unlimited options are Lite. High-speed allowances refresh daily; reduced speeds apply for the rest of the day after that day's allowance is used. Unlimited does not mean unrestricted high-speed data. Actual speeds depend on connectivity and can be below policy limits.

11 destinations included

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia.

Only these destinations are included. Kosovo is not covered. Do not assume every Balkan or European destination is included; check each stop before buying.

Listed local networks

• Albania: One Albania.
• Bosnia and Herzegovina: Eronet.
• Bulgaria: Yettel Bulgaria, Vivacom and A1 Bulgaria.
• Croatia: A1/A1 Hrvatska and Tele2 Croatia, as recorded.
• Greece: Wind Greece, as recorded.
• Moldova: Moldtelecom and Orange Moldova.
• Montenegro: Mtel.
• North Macedonia: One VIP, as recorded.
• Romania: Vodafone Romania and Orange Romania.
• Serbia: A1 Srbija and Yettel Serbia.
• Slovenia: Telemach and A1 Slovenija.

This list reflects the product provider record and 28 variants supplying named networks. Five options have no named networks in their records: Unlimited Lite/1 day, fixed 20GB/60 days, Unlimited Essential/5 days, Unlimited Lite/7 days and fixed 50GB/30 days. All five still list the same 11 destinations; missing network detail does not remove coverage or establish entitlement to every partner above. Follow your purchased option's network instructions.

Some network generations are unspecified; this does not establish a 4G ceiling or guarantee 5G. Access and speeds depend on your purchased option, partner, device and local coverage. Legacy provider labels may appear differently on your device.

Mountain roads and ferry journeys

Save maps, accommodation details and tickets offline before mountain drives or rural routes. Signal may be limited or unavailable away from towns. Shipboard networks and service at sea are not included; keep cellular service off at sea and reconnect to a supported local network when ashore.

Hotspot and calls

Confirm hotspot entitlement for your selected package if sharing is essential; device and network support are also required. Shared usage counts toward the same total or daily allowance. Large downloads, backups and streaming can use data quickly. Internet-based messaging and calling require connectivity and app access.

If keeping your home SIM enabled on a compatible device, check roaming charges, turn off its data roaming and avoid automatic data switching. No ID verification is required for the AloOui purchase; this does not waive local requirements.

Installation and activation

1. Check your exact device model and regional version support eSIM and are carrier-unlocked.
2. Install the emailed QR code over stable Wi-Fi, following your order's instructions. Keep the QR private.
3. When ready in a covered destination, enable AloOui, select it for mobile data and follow your order's data-roaming instructions.

Validity starts when the eSIM connects to a supported network in a covered destination, not QR delivery or installation alone. Enabling the line within supported coverage can start the package. Crossing borders does not restart validity or provide a new fixed allowance; daily high-speed allowances refresh daily, not at borders. Follow your purchased option's activation deadline, expiry and top-up instructions.

APN and connection help

1. Confirm AloOui is enabled and selected for mobile data, with roaming configured according to your order.
2. If an APN is needed, the plan records list data.esim. Follow your order's APN and credential instructions, then save/select it. Some devices configure this automatically.
3. After installation completes, toggle airplane mode briefly or restart. Try 4G/LTE where supported if 5G is unstable.
4. Start with automatic network selection. If needed, choose a partner confirmed for your purchased option and current destination, not any visible network.
5. Check remaining data and validity. Keep the eSIM installed while troubleshooting.

Ask support before deleting the profile, changing devices or rescanning the QR code; do not assume transfer, reinstallation or QR reuse is supported. AloOui provides 24/7 human support through the Help Center. Share your order, device, location and error privately.

Continuing to Western Europe?

Compare the separate Europe Extra eSIM and its full 38-destination list. It includes Serbia and Moldova but excludes Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Kosovo. It is not a replacement for every Balkans route. Confirm every stop, allowance, validity and price before buying; this is a separate purchase, not extra coverage included here.
