1. Check SIM manager, not just mobile-data settings

Samsung's official installation guide uses Settings → Connections → SIM card manager → Add mobile plan → Add using QR code. Labels and available options can differ by device and software; you may encounter SIM manager or Add eSIM instead.

Check the SIM-management area and the instructions for your exact phone. Not seeing the wording Add eSIM alone is not enough to conclude that the feature is unavailable. An existing profile, a roaming switch and an installation button serve different purposes.

2. Match the full model and regional version
