Unlimited Lite

Arriving through SJO
Save your accommodation address, airport transfer details and pickup instructions before leaving Wi-Fi. SJO serves the San José area; confirm your destination and pickup location rather than assuming the airport and city center are the same stop. Supported mobile data can help with directions after arrival, but it does not include transport or guarantee a signal in every terminal or building.
City stop and onward Costa Rica route
Use supported data for directions to your accommodation, bookings and messages around San José. If you continue toward mountain areas, beaches or national parks, choose validity for the whole trip and download offline maps, reservations and meeting points before departure. Remote roads, rainforest and coastal terrain can have weak or no mobile signal. A larger data allowance does not extend coverage, and a Costa Rica-only plan should not be assumed to work after crossing a border.
Install and troubleshoot
- Choose a Costa Rica plan and duration, complete checkout and open the emailed QR code on another screen.
- Connect an unlocked, eSIM-compatible phone to stable Wi-Fi. On iPhone, use Settings > Cellular/Mobile Data > Add eSIM > Use QR Code. On Android, find Add eSIM in SIM manager or Network & internet; menu labels vary.
- Scan the code, label the new line AloOui and follow your delivery email. Do not delete the installed eSIM.
- On arrival, choose AloOui for mobile data and follow the selected plan's activation guidance. If data fails, check validity, mobile data and instructed roaming on that line, toggle airplane mode, compare the APN data.esim with your email and try automatic network selection.
