Research in development

AloOui is developing an eSIM index research project covering up to 50 countries. The scope, methodology and publication date have not been finalized; AloOui will share them when confirmed. This is a planned research project, not a published index or a claim about the wider market.

2026 launch timeline

May 1: UK prepaid eSIMs with a local number, calls, SMS and data. UK-only plans with product-specific allowances.

June 1: AloOui travel eSIM app for iPhone and Android. Official App Store and Google Play links are in the announcement.

June (day not specified): AI-assisted customer service alongside human support and the Help Center for self-service answers and support tickets. The retrospective announcement was published in September.

July 1: Premium Unlimited eSIM options. Selectable tiers on supported country and regional listings, distinct from the upcoming Platinum tier.

July: Flash eSIM offers. Selected listings show savings up to 50%; check each plan’s current price, terms and availability.

Is AloOui a data-only eSIM store?

No. AloOui lists travel data plans as well as selected UK prepaid eSIMs with a local number and stated UK calls and SMS allowances. Number and calling features are not included in every travel plan; check the selected listing.

Is a virtual number the same as a travel eSIM?

No. Virtual numbers are a separate number service for supported calling and messaging uses; they do not themselves promise mobile travel data. Number availability, service terms and third-party verification acceptance vary by option.

Are Premium and Platinum the same offering?

No. Unlimited Premium is selectable on supported current listings. Unlimited Platinum is planned and is not available to purchase yet. Do not attribute proposed Platinum benefits to live Premium plans.
