What does True Unlimited with no throttling mean? It means no fixed data allowance, no daily data cap and no automatic speed reduction after you use a set amount of data. Throttling means deliberately slowing your connection after a usage threshold. No throttling does not mean a guaranteed speed: your connection still depends on signal strength, network congestion, your device and location. A fair use policy applies to abuse of the unlimited service.
UK-only service: Activation and use are available only in the United Kingdom. Calls and SMS are from the UK to UK numbers. This prepaid plan does not provide roaming or service outside the UK.
UK coverage and networks
The current provider and plan records list O2 UK. Three UK and Vodafone UK are not listed for this option. Network generations are unspecified in these records; do not assume 4G or 5G entitlement. Actual network access and speed depend on your purchased plan, device, location and local conditions. Signal varies on rural routes, in the countryside and inside buildings; service at every address is not guaranteed.
Is True Unlimited right for me?
Choose it if you work remotely, stream, make frequent video calls or share a hotspot and do not want to track a data allowance. There is no daily cap and no speed reduction after a set amount. Hotspot use depends on your device and network. If you only need data and no UK number, compare the data-only Unlimited options on United Kingdom eSIM.
Using your UK number
Make and receive calls and SMS on your local UK number and use the included 500 minutes and 500 SMS for UK contacts. It is useful for arranging visits, receiving callbacks and booking appointments. International calls and premium-rate services are not included.
Receiving SMS does not guarantee verification-code acceptance by every bank, app or website. Each sending service controls number acceptance and delivery.
Compatibility, installation and activation
Check that your exact device model and regional version support eSIM and are carrier-unlocked. Install the emailed QR code over stable Wi-Fi using Add eSIM in your cellular or SIM settings.
- Purchase the plan and open your QR-code email.
- Install the eSIM over a stable internet connection.
- In the UK, enable the AloOui line and select it for mobile data, calls and SMS.
Scanning the QR code outside the UK does not enable service there.
Validity and top-ups
The service is valid for 30 days after activation, with no automatic renewal. Check available top-ups in Account > My eSIM.
APN and troubleshooting
- Confirm you are in the UK and the AloOui line is enabled and selected for mobile data.
- If manual APN setup is needed, enter data.esim with username and password blank, then save/select it.
- Toggle airplane mode or restart your phone.
- Check remaining data and validity. Do not delete the eSIM while troubleshooting.
